Practicing restoration of historical buildings requires profound knowledge of various traditions and cultures. If we accept the necessity of city planning and architecture on human life, the most accutare way of learning this human life’s needs is to follow past cultural change. Acquaintance of the past is necessary in order to reference its mean on recent applications. Therefore, experiences and researches of restoration before modern architecture practices become exclusive. After getting his Master’s Degree in Restoration, Hakan Kıran practiced and continues his practices in redesign, restoration and reconstruction of historical buildings. The buildings on this section resume architecture’s adventure of discovery before his initial creative steps.

After a long period of architectural observation and experience, the architect then started his practices on modern buildings and continues his journey with an aim of leaving exclusive buildings to the next generations. Modern architecture can be integrated to growing technologies by its traditional reference or theme. The goal is not solely produce extra ordinary or high-end buildings, but to generate humanistic buildings that live harmonically with its surroundings. The architect’s primary concern is to enrich social and cosmopolitan life with his futurist designs. His aim is to contribute urbanization by connecting inhabitants either with the sea, or with the grass, or with a square, or with them all. Depending on their designed area, one shall not forget that the most important will from God, creativity, consist a substantial meaning. It reflects that the existence of a body or building rely on its concretion with the soul.
